Organosilocone Surfactant
Active Ingredients:
Polyalkyleneoxide modified heptamethyltrisiloxane……100.0%
Cas Number : 67674-67-3
Product Overview
CONNECT CN-280 is a 100% organosilicone formulation designed to reduce surface tension, it is a non-ionic spreading and a penetration aid. Once added to the spray, it considerably lowers the surface tension of the water so that the sprayed drops adhere better on the plant surface. At the same time, this additive causes an effect known as “super spreading”, a process whereby sprayed drops are distributed widely and rapidly, resulting in an evenly wetted plant. Moreover, CONNECT CN-280 improves the absorption into the plants tissue of plant-protecting active ingredients. So CONNECT CN-280 helps to optimize plant protection measures.

USE
Directions For Use
CONNECT CN-280 surfactant has been found to be effective in agricultural applications at 0.025 to 0.25% v/v concentration. Some applications may require lower or higher surfactant rates for optimum effect. Do not add adjuvant at a level that would exceed 5% of the finished spray volume/ When this occurs, adjust rates to obtain thorough coverage without excessive runoff. Diminished performance will result if tank mix pH is excessively high(above 9) or low(below 5). Optimum performance of CONNECT CN-280 will result between pH of 6 and 8. Prior to use of Lionsi™ CN-280 in any agricultural application, the user, applicator or advisor must experience or must have conducted a phytotoxicity trial on the crop to which the application is to be applied.
Mixing
Prior to any pesticide application all spray mixing and application equipment must be thoroughly cleaned. Carefully observe all cleaning directions on the pesticide label.
1. to prevent of minimize foaming, fill tank to 2/3 to 3/4 full of water. If foaming is anticipated, the addition of an antifoaming agent should be added before pesticides, nutrients, or CONNECT CN-280 is added.
2. Add pesticides and /or fertilizers ad directed by label or in the following sequence:
A. Micronutrients and fertilizers
B. Dry flowables and dispersible granules
C. Flowables
D. Water soluble pesticides
E. Emulsifiable concentrates
3. Continue agitation
4. Add CONNECT CN-280 and mix for 1 to 2 mixing with lower than normal agitation.
5. Continue filling tank, maintaining minimal agitation.
6. For optimum results, spray mixes containing CONNECT CN-280 should be applied within 36 hours after mixing.
